High level estimating background is a must along with strong Databuild knowledge and supplier contacts. This is a hands-off management role however, you cannot effectively manage without knowing exactly what your staff are doing. You will be the kind of Manager that thrives on getting results, this will be a demanding position with high expectations, however with that comes rewards and satisfaction.
